Grizzly G0516 Mill (Detached & Installed on new base)

This mill started out attached to the lathe but as I and many other discovered........life would be easier if the lathe and mill were separated. If you're tight on space.....the combo is still a good idea and very functional.
This mill comes with a MT3 spindle....It can be purchased from places other than Grizzly with the R8 spindle....or you can simply buy the conversion kit from LittleMachineShop and convert it yourself. For me.....I'm still using the MT3 setup... primarily because I have a bunch of tooling that I would need to replace....and frankly...when I move to R8....it will be on a larger machine.
